VISON
sukui will have a positive impact on society as a whole by supporting the comfort of medical workers and providing environmentally friendly services through the production of sustainable medical wear. We aim to be a step towards creating a sustainable future from Japan.
MISSION
Contributing to saving lives
Our comfortable and safe clothing supports medical professionals in their daily work and contributes to achieving their mission of "saving people."
Contribution to saving the environment
Through sustainable materials, manufacturing processes and services, we contribute to protecting the global environment for future generations.
SMARTLY MADE, NOT OVERMADE
Build smart and don't overproduce.
We prevent overproduction by adopting product dyeing. Generally, when dyed fabric is sewn, all the fabric produced must be sold, and such distribution inventory can lead to overproduction. However, at sukui, we sew the undyed fabric into the shape of the product and then dye it, optimizing production by arranging the right amount at the right time. This method prevents unnecessary inventory and resource waste, and reduces the burden on the environment.
MINIMAL IMPACT, MAXIMUM COMFORT
Minimal impact, maximum comfort.
We aim to provide maximum comfort while minimizing our impact on the environment. We use sustainable materials, minimize waste and loss during manufacturing, and take into account the comfortable and functional design of our products to ensure that medical professionals can use them comfortably for long periods of time.
DESIGN FOR LONGEVITY AND CARE
Designed for longevity and care.
We design not only our products but also our services to ensure that our products last a long time. Products manufactured with high-quality materials and superior technology are durable and can withstand frequent use. In addition, by incorporating regular maintenance (cleaning and repairs) into our services, we can extend the lifespan of our products and provide medical professionals with products that they can use for a long time with peace of mind.
BACKGROUND
Deeply rooted in Japanese tradition is the culture of cherishing kimonos and everyday items across generations. This value of using things carefully and passing them down from parent to child along with memories is a heritage that should be cherished even in modern times. However, with the trend towards mass production and mass consumption, this important tradition has gradually faded into obscurity.
We believe that now, when consideration for the global environment and efficient use of resources are required, it is time to reawaken these values that the Japanese once held dear. sukui aims to build a new circular economy rooted in the unique Japanese spirit of sustainability and resource circulation.
Environmental impacts are generated during the manufacturing process, transportation, and disposal of clothing. To address this issue, we aim to extend the life cycle of our products, introduce a resource circulation system that reuses discarded resources, and reduce the environmental impact of clothing manufacturing. This goes beyond simply making clothes; it is a bridge that connects culture and the environment, and is our mission as a responsibility to future generations.
