elected from 1,200 entries across 54 countries
Under the guiding theme “Shape what matters,” the international Green Product Awards honoured outstanding sustainable products, concepts, and materials from around the world. From a total of 1,200 submissions from 54 countries, the best projects were recognised across 12 categories, including interior design, consumer goods, architecture, mobility, fashion, and new materials. The award-winning projects included contributions from established brands and innovative start-ups, as well as students from four continents.
Jurors including Uwe Melichar (Touch Design Ltd.), Prof. Claus-Christian Eckhardt (Lund University), and Katja Keienburg (baby&junior) presented the awards to the winners.

Official Jury Statement
The Fashion category jury highlighted the shift in fashion from seasonal consumption toward durability — products that can be repaired, used longer, and eventually become something new — before introducing sukui as the category’s first winner with the following statement:
Japan-based “sukui” impresses with its CO₂-negative medical workwear, combining modern minimalist design with chemical-free hemp fibers. Each garment features a blockchain-based Digital Product Passport, ensuring full transparency while supporting a circular lifecycle through repairability and final compostability.
About sukui
sukui is carbon-negative medical wear for healthcare professionals, made from hemp in Japan. It solves the need for sustainable, functional scrubs by using a chemical-free spinning method for silk-like softness and a circular design that includes repair and composting. Each garment carries a blockchain-based Digital Product Passport (DPP) for transparent CO₂ and traceability data. The project has won the Good Design Award 2025 (Japan), the iF Design Award 2026, and the Green Product Award 2026 (both Germany).
